On Thursday, 1st May 2008 from 7:00 to 12:00, the 5th annual “open day” for employees and their family members took place.

The event was organized by the EVRAZ VÍTKOVICE STEEL, a.s. management in collaboration with trade union organization (VZO OS KOVO). The tradition has been renewed on the basis of requesting from employees and the popularity of the event has been growing year by year. This year more then 750 family members visited the company, out of the number about 300 were children. This day the employees have the chance to show the relatives their place of work and at the same time they become their guides round the company.
