The company EVRAZ VÍTKOVICE STEEL, a.s. will participate in the 7^th year of the prestigious project SYMBIOSIS 2008 which will take place on March 19, 2008 in the new auditorium of the Technical University in Ostrava.

Ostrava 7 December 2007 - The company EVRAZ VÍTKOVICE STEEL is participating in the 14th Annual presentational exhibition for education and training UČEŇ, STŘEDOŠKOLÁK, VYSOKOŠKOLÁK 2007 (APPRENTICE, SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENT, UNIVERSITY STUDENT 2007), which will be held 7-8 December 2007 at Výstaviště Černá louka (Exhibition Grounds Černá louka) in Ostrava.

In Brno on October 11, 2007 - International Engineering Fair in Brno belongs to the best engineering exhibitions in the Czech Republic with average participation about 2000 companies. The part of the fair is also the competition for the most attractive exhibition AURA organized by Brněnské veletrhy a výstavy, a.s.

Brno, October 4, 2007 - At this year's International Engineering Fair in Brno, important negotiations took place between the company EVRAZ VÍTKOVICE STEEL, a.s. and the Finnish ship manufacturer Aker Yards. The negotiations resulted in an agreement on the conditions of a contract to supply shipbuilding plates for 2008.

OSTRAVA 17.9.2007 - EVRAZ VÍTKOVICE STEEL Company has acquired an approbation MQS from Lloyd's Register Group. This certificate was awarded to her as 6th plate rolling mill plant and as 14th company in Europe in total. This approbation holds only 28 companies all over the world.

OSTRAVA 23.7.2007 – To a position of a financial director of the Evraz Vítkovice Steel, a.s., the shareholders nominated Ing. Petr Jůza. At the same time, he became also the member of the Board of Directors of the corporation.
