Salary tariffs in EVRAZ VITKOVICE STEEL will increase by 2.7% in 2011

Ostrava January 27, 2011 - The management of EVRAZ VITKOVICE STEEL (EVS) and labour unions have agreed to sign an amendment to their collective agreement for 2011. The amendment increases the salary tariffs for 2011 by 2.7 % in comparison with the previous year.

Evraz Charity Fund hands out 8.9 mil. CZK in Moravian-Silesian region

Ostrava December 17, 2010 Representatives of non-profit organizations from the Moravian-Silesian region received almost 9 million CZK in donations from representatives of the Evraz Charity Fund at the Clarion Congress Hotel in Ostrava. The Evraz Charity Fund selected 42 projects for funding from a total of 99 applicants.

Exhibition of children’s paintings in Ostrava City Hall

Ostrava November 2nd, 2010 Ostrava City Hall is hosting a unique exhibition of paintings by children, supported by the Evraz Charity Fund and the EVRAZ "Beloved children" programme. This special exhibition, which brings together twenty paintings by handicapped children and young people from the Czech Republic and Russia, runs until November 16th.
