The Supervisory Board of Ostrava Vítkovice Steel decided on the new composition of the three-member Board of Directors. Dmitrij Ščuka, the Chairman of the Board of Directors elected again, has been working in this position since 2012 and belongs among the most experienced managers in the steel industry in Central Europe. Starting 1 January 2020, the Board of Directors will be strengthened by Kateřina Nogolová, the current HR Director. The third member of the Board of Directors remains to be Radek Strouhal, the Financial Director of the Company.
“The appointment of Kateřina to the Board of Directors logically completed a change of the management team which develops in line with the needs of the Company as well as situation in the field and on markets. We further focus on our long-term priorities, in particular quality of products and services, simultaneously gradually increasing the production with regard to the environment,” Dmitrij Ščuka, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the CEO of Vítkovice Steel stated.
VÍTKOVICE STEEL, a.s. is a traditional European producer of steel rolled products, the largest steel plate manufacturer in the Czech Republic and the only producer of sheet piles in the Czech Republic.
