Evraz Charity Fund invited children to the ranch

On Friday, May 18, at the Children’s Ranch in Hlučín, the Evraz Charity Fund organized a “Day with Hippo Therapy” for handicapped children from the organizations sponsored by the Fund. The participants could enjoy an interesting program which was based on rehabilitation in the form of horse-back riding – hippo therapy. The children could also see a home-based ZOO with small animals and they could pat sheep, llamas or ponies. The ranch also includes a rehabilitation garden for children where the children could see, for example scale model of the pyramid in Giza and more active children were able to use a playground on the ranch. The event was attended in total by 15 children with accompanying personnel from the following organizations: Benjamin in Petřvald, Sírius in Opava, Elementary special school of Diaconia of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren and Elementary school Naděje in Frýdek-Místek.
