In April 2017 a reconstruction of Negrelli viaduct built from 1846 to 1850 was commenced. Negrelli viaduct is the second oldest bridge in Prague (after Charles bridge) and it is also prominent with its length of 1,100 m. The viaduct reconstruction includes replacement of two of its three bridge structures.
The plates from VÍTKOVICE STEEL will help in the repair of one of the structures. The bridge structure parts were manufactured and the bridge was assembled this spring. The bridge will be set on Křižíkova street in close vicinity of Florenc bus station and Karlín Musical Theatre in summer.
The completion of Negrelli viaduct reconstruction is scheduled for summer 2020.
