Welcome to the new application server of the QUICK LOOK information system used for on-line access to the SŘHV system (System for control of steel production). using a web-based interface. Before the first login (after clicking the "Enter the System" link) you will be requested to install a new version of JavaInitiator (1.3.1.26), which will enable you to access the new QUICK LOOK system. The size of the JavaInitiator installation package is approx. 8 MB. In connection with the new application server, the print files are now in the PDF format; therefore, it is necessary to have Acrobat Reader installed on your PC.

Dear customers,

On April 19, 2010 in the morning, we will be reconfiguring the QUICKLOOK application for Java support. The support of Jinitiator was ended because this runtime is no longer supported in Windows Vista and Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 8. The change has no effects on the functionality and appearance of the application. We would like to ask you to prepare the installation of the Java runtime 1.5.0.14 in advance, according to the undermentioned procedures. By this any possible problems with running of the application should be eliminated.

Installation instructions and running of the application after April 19, 2010:

1. First download the Java installation package and install it into your system (with the rights of an administrator).    http://web.vitkovicesteel.com/forms/html/jre15014.exe

2. To run the application, use standard procedures specified at http://www.vitkovicesteel.com/.

3. If a window with certificate granting appears after you start the application, you have to confirm it.

By this way you will be prepared for the transition of QUICKLOOK to Java runtime.
