Investments in roads, car parks, social facilities and the premises as a whole are key to employee satisfaction and smooth production. We are continuing with further projects this year.

The facility team is launching an extensive road renovation project, primarily in the TPT area (Production Section 230 TPT), where new surfaces will contribute to greater transport comfort and increased safety for internal transport.

Part of the solution to the transport situation at the company is also the installation of barriers in the VR 39 car park to give priority parking to employees. Until now, vehicles belonging to employees of other companies have often parked here, blocking spaces reserved for permanent staff. The new chip-based access system will ensure that the space is used exclusively by Vítkovice Steel employees.

The modernisation work on the premises also affected the roof structures. In the first quarter, we completed repairs to the roofs of the TPT roller repair shop and the fifth hall of the Kvarto rolling mill. The new roof cladding will ensure long-term protection of the technology from external influences.

The comfort of employees will be further enhanced by the ongoing reconstruction of the sanitary facilities in the shower area of changing rooms 1200. In addition to structural modifications, a new chip access control system will be introduced in these areas, which will increase security, enable more efficient regulation of changing room occupancy and reduce operating costs.
