Our foundation traditionally supports not only families and non-profit organisations in the Moravian-Silesian Region, but also allows our employees to apply for support or nominate someone from their community who finds themselves in a difficult situation.

At the end of last year, the annual appeal of the VÍTKOVICE STEEL Foundation took place, which once again showed that help can take many forms. Ten VÍTKOVICE STEEL employees took part in last year’s appeal, and the total amount of donations was an impressive 560,000 Czech crowns. The funds were used for rehabilitation after serious illnesses, medical aids for children with disabilities, personal assistance, and help with furnishing homes that had been completely destroyed by floods. Each story was unique, and each donation provided specific help where it was most needed. The foundation thus not only strengthens the bonds between our employees, but also reinforces the values of solidarity and mutual support that are important to our company.

We believe that this year, too, our employees will take advantage of this opportunity and share their stories, whether for themselves or for someone who needs their help. The foundation’s call for applications will be open from 1 August to 15 September, with applications accepted electronically via the website nadace.vitkovicesteel.com.

The NFVS Board of Directors and Supervisory Board are familiar with every story that has received support and are in contact with all recipients. In 2024, a total of 36 applicants received support. They received financial contributions to improve their lives with disabilities or serious illnesses. The foundation distributed a total of CZK 2 million among them.
