This year has once again confirmed that solidarity and a desire to help are deeply rooted in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The Board of Trustees will distribute CZK 2.5 million this year, which is half a million more than last year.

The VÍTKOVICE STEEL Foundation has long directed its aid to where it is most needed – whether it be financing health and assistance care, rehabilitation, aids, or supporting social projects in the non-profit sector.

„Increasing our support is a way for us to provide even more significant assistance to those who need it most. We see the concrete results of our work, and that is what motivates us to continue,“ adds Žaneta Giel Sigmundová, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees.

We accepted applications from 1 August to 15 September 2025. They are now being carefully evaluated, and we will inform all applicants in the second half of October.

To make it easier for applicants to get help, the foundation’s website has been modernised – the new design offers a clearer structure and the option to submit applications conveniently via electronic forms. This has speeded up the administrative process.

However, the fund’s assistance does not end with administration. We met personally with everyone we helped last year. We know their stories, follow their progress, and rejoice in every success they have achieved thanks to our support.
