Ostrava, March 13th, 2015, VÍTKOVICE STEEL, a.s. (hereafter the Company) strongly objects to the information published by certain media outlets related to the alleged transfer of the company’s production from the Czech Republic to Russia.
This information allegedly originated in the 2014 Annual Report, which is yet to be presented to the Czech government for discussion, and it is not based on any actual facts. The Company has no knowledge of who or why initiated the dissemination of this information with the apparent intention to damage the company's good name. In the case similar untruthful information is released in the future, the Company is prepared to prevent it from spreading and to resolve the situation using the any legal means at its disposal.
