The measures to prevent transmission of the novel coronavirus

From the end of February, the company VÍTKOVICE STEEL introduces preventive measures based on the recommendations of the Regional Public Health Authority (KHS) and occupation health and safety experts of the company. A disinfectant solution will be used for cleaning of shared premises. The security guard at the main gate is equipped with protective masks and disinfectants. If the security guard notices that any truck driver is coughing, has a cold, etc., the guard gives immediately the protective mask to the driver and disinfects the premises of the gate. Disinfectants are on the sinks in canteens and are refilled on an ongoing basis. The recommendations and instructions related to the current situation are available on the company Intranet and company bulletin boards in the whole company.
